If you were to rank this years tours by press coverage, Gwen Stefani would be near the top of the list.

In terms of dollars raked in, she only ranked 16th. I was suprised at this, until I looked at the list and realized the reason; old people playing music for old people charge an average ticket price well over $100.

U2 was the 2nd highest grossing tour and they weren't quite as greedy as The Stones and Paul McCartney.

Gwen's tour earned $24.2 million and the average ticket price was $54.46
